The New CareCo Aquabathe allows you to enjoy a full depth bath and have an enjoyable bathing experience. There is also no need to wait until the bath has emptied to get out when you’re finished, as you would with a walk in bath. The unit is fully retractable so other people can also use the bath tub with no inconvenience. The slim bath lift unit can be fitted to most bathroom walls which means there is no need for expensive bathroom renovations.

Main features

Fitted to your existing bath. Aquabathe bath lift allows you to sit right at the bottom of your own bath. Simple up and down switch to lower and raise you in and out of the bath. Floating remote control allows you to lower and raise yourself easily. Unique built in round sturdy grab rail for your safety. Handrail which allows safe support at all times Aquabathe bath lift can hold 20 stone in weight. Usually installed and working in under two hours No dangerous mains electricity used Built in thermometer and temperature display Retractable bath seat - can be extended up to 200cm wide

PLEASE BE ADVISED

The Aquabathe can only fit on the wall at the end of the bath that is opposite to taps. If there is a window the Aquabathe requires 600ml clearance above the edge of the bath.

If you have a Plasterboard there is a possibility that you will need a back plate in the room adjoining the relevant bathroom wall.  Additionally you would need to find out if there are any obstructions on that wall, e.g. radiators or fitted cupboard.

The Aquabathe cannot be fitted if:

  • Wall is Lathe and Plaster or Strammer Board
  • Mirror tiles or Vitrolite (looks like marble)
  • Vanity unit runs along bath
  • Soap Dish, this will need to be remove before fitting the Aquabathe
  • Curved Bath Panels (internal or external)
  • Shower glass panels that swing over bath (make sure they are able to be folded away)
  • If bathroom has under floor heating
  • Stud Walls

The Aquabathe cannot fit the following types of baths:

  • Corner Bath
  • Jacuzzi
  • Stand-alone bath positioned away from the wall
  • Roll top bath
  • P –Shaped bath - can only fit on flat end without taps
