Read article : Great Weekend - Review of Ayres Hotel Seal Beach, Seal Beach, CA
Stayed here for the night before heading back home to AZ. Per California State Law, we were told there could be no more than 4 ppl occupying a single room, we had 4 adults and 2 kids (a toddler and a baby). So we requested adjoining rooms. When we got to our rooms, they were not adjoining. Front desk said they had no more adjoining rooms, so they allowed us to all stay in one room and took the other one off the bill. Maybe it was because we were only staying one night? But they were very accommodating and even had a Pack 'N' Play for the baby to sleep in.
The complimentary breakfast is no joke either. Not your standard, coffee and a pastry. Ayers had a full spread of eggs, bacon, sausages, French toast, and pancakes. Muffins, bagels, bread for toast, cereal, yogurt, and fresh fruit. For beverages there was coffee, an assortment of teas and juices.
The rooms are clean, staff is lovely, and the free breakfast is legit. Overall great place to stay!
