Gabrielle Flank was only 10 years old when she received a diagnosis that changed her life forever, but not in the way you'd imagine.

In 2008, Gabrielle was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a form of blood cancer. During this time, she and her sister Brittney began paying close attention to the ingredients in the bath and body products they were putting on their skin.

This, along with enduring two and a half years of harsh chemotherapy treatments, gave Gabrielle the vision she needed to start The Frosting Company with her older sister.

It was quite a feat for the then 16-year-old, who also carried a full course load at school, while pursuing her entrepreneurial dream.

Now in its third year, The Frosting Company specializes in natural products that are free of gluten, parabens, sulfates and phthalates. They're artisan items that are good for the bath and the body, sold online and at whole food stores in the mid-Atlantic region.

Gabrielle and Brittney joined Good Day on Thursday to show off their products.
