The first positive impression is location: just a few minutes walk from Union Square, Market & Powell street, BART station, cable car, and shopping centers.
Hotel room is enough size, bathroom as well, but bathroom equipment is extremely poor.
Breakfast is not rich, on the contrary, very modest: just cereal & fruit, croissants, & muffin. No cheese or ham or even boiled eggs.
Rooms are clean but old and need urgent remodeling and refurbishment. WiFi is free and fast.
Staff is different: in some shifts friendly and polite, in others not much.
Overall conclusion: good place for trip, if you are out most of the time.
